My heart goes out to all those touched by our nation's devastating tragedy.
In time I will update this website to reflect new concerns, but in the meantime,
my hope is that there may be some information here that is useful. I send my
blessings to all as we heal. The US Department of Transportation has a recorded
information line of special travel advisories concerning security threats at
various destinations: 1-800-221-0673. Here is some
information from the American Psychological Association web site that may be
of help.

The travel bug bit Lora at an early age. After completing her undergraduate
work at the University Washington in communications, she became a travel
agent. She found that she spent too much time behind a desk and moved
on to become a flight attendant for Pan American World Airways. She now
works for another major airline and is working towards her doctorate in
psychology at the Washington School of Professional Psychology. As a counselor,
she does volunteer work and teaches a class on overcoming the fear of
flying. With this website, she will share some of the ways to make flying
more pleasant. |
